Cart Ridge Shooting Ground at Tredinnick, Cornwall

Cart Ridge Shooting Grounds has been running since 1984.

It has evolved from a small Sunday morning shoot, progressing through the years to what it is today, a family run business.

I (David Dingle) now run the shooting grounds with my partner Joan and daughter Hannah. The grounds are set in a beautiful Cornish valley with the River Tiddy running nearby that divides us from the neighbouring Port Eliot Estate in St Germans. Over the years we have landscaped the grounds with ponds and many acres of trees, enhancing both the grounds and the wildlife

Our shooting grounds offer a number of different layouts to enjoy clay pigeon shooting which is surrounded by wildlife and beautiful scenery.

The famous X-range cartridge:

We have developed the infamous X-range Cartridge which is rated by the top game shots in the country to give excellent patterns at high and long range for game and clay shooting. The infamous "X-Range" cartridge was designed by David Dingle and has been rated by many to be the top load in the country. The cartridge is built to a high specification and creates a superb pattern at long range.
